I backed my husbands car into a stack of wooden pallets  It has some scratches and a little denting but its not as bad as you'd expect! I feel awful. He didn't even yell or get angry! Is that love or what?

Remember, it's YOU he loves. Not the car. ;)

(Well, I'm sure he loves the car too...but you're irreplaceable)

Hi ALL!

Posting to you from Midland Ontario... umm it's freaking cold up here and silly me only brought one pair of jeans! ACK! My mom told me that summer has been that way so far. GEE THANKS FOR THE WARNING!

I am so happy I went to that concert yesterday. I was at the very front and centre for the whole thing and had a great time. Here's a picture of Frank Black of the Pixies I took with mah iphone (hence the less than stellar quality):

But yup... it was great!

Today I went to a horse ceremony with my mom and Ethan. It was so strange. I haven't seen most of these people since before I left and some of them were a little stand offish, as was I. It actually got me a little choked up. All these people I was so comfortable with two years ago, it was like meeting familiarity for the first time. It was both weird and difficult. I can't explain it. I just realized how much things change, I realized how much I've changed. *sigh*

I know that feeling. It's only temporary, though. If you had hung around with them for a while it would have dissipated. But, yeah. It's tough. :(

I can't remember where I've heard that before, but it's missing the part where she calls him back to say she had gone out of town on business and was returning his calls..... and to tell him not to call her anymore.

Happy roto-tilling, Carla!

Had a serendipitous find yesterday after taking the two little land pirranhas out to the doggy park yesterday. We found a cafe in Redondo Beach that serves poutine and montreal smoked meat sammiches. If we didn't have the two little monsters we would have stopped there for lunch. Upon reading more about the place, it looks even better. They have celebrations and events for Canada Day and others. It's on the Pacific Coast Highway, a couple of blocks from the beach. I haven't tried it, nor do I know anything about the food, but it's actually quite a famous place in the area, so I'm inclined to give them a shot next weekend.

I don't know how good of a thing it is to have a restaurant that serves poutine 5 minutes from where I live.
