Awwww, Thanks guys. It's comforting, in an odd sort of way, to know that there are other Moms who feel my pain. The "left out" feeling sucks. My parents and cousins have met her future in-laws, as well as my son's newish girlfriend. I get a bit nauseated when I think about that. Aw, #######. I don't want to cry.

Umm, hmm - ok this is really boring but - we have the HD digital tv receiver, the picture is horrible and grainy. So I thought, well it could be our connections, not sure - anyway, I discovered the HD channels a few days ago. The HD channels are fine - it's just the non HD that suck. So I need to call the cable company.

You may be bored now, but hopefully not sad!

I can't wait for fall TV to return like Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Desperate Housewives, etc. I miss all my shows!

I was just talking to my aunt via email and she reminded me of this funny thing I did when I was about 5. I had pretty much forgotten about it until now but it was pretty funny, so who better to share it with than the VJ crew...

When I was a kid and visiting my grandparents in Latchford there was this guy who would walk around town and everyone would call him "the rapist". I didn't know him by any other name but "the rapist" and I didn't know what a rapist was at that age. But he had apparently raped 3 girls and just got out of jail for it. I didn't know any of this when I was a kid though.

So one day we were down at the beach for the Town's birthday or some sort of celebration as it was pretty crowded and he was there walking around and my mom jokingly says to my aunt: "I dare you to say: Hi rapist" and they both giggled and laughed. It was a joke but then I decided that I'd do it so I screamed out on the beach: "HI RAPIST!" while joyfully waving my arms and thinking my mom would be real impressed that I had taken the dare that my aunt couldn't do herself.

Yea we didn't spend much more time at the beach that day, my mom picked me up and quickly took me home.

so when we got back from our vacation we noticed that all the ####### in front of the neighbor's apartment was cleaned up and today they started work on fixing up the inside...
