So I ranted in the Vent thread a week ago that I was having back pain problems, have been to the chiropractor alot in the past week and half, it is slowly getting better! I have never taken a muscle relaxant until today....wow thank goodness for Robaxacet!! I am planning to get a massage in the next week or so and hoping that the Robaxcet works over the next few days....Now if only I could take it on the night shift.... I'd probably end up with my head on the table at work! LOL.

I never had any back problems until I was about 40 and I had some severe bacterial infection which made me cough. I coughed my back into spasms and I couldn't believe how much pain I was in...for weeks! I could truly empathize then with anyone that had any back problems. I couldn't have lived without Robaxacet. It was a lifesaver! I hope you're getting some relief now, and soon mending.

Marilyn, those are lovely pictures! You are looking good girl! Iloved those carved ornaments. I actually have a painted one similar to that that I got at a craft fall fair in IL last year. You mentioned that you would have liked to buy one, how much were they? Hope you enjoyed your ball game as well! Glad you got to see the Cards.

When ever I go back to Canada, always pick up Robaxcet for the inlaws!!!

flames9! I was thinking about you yesterday. How did your first day on the job go? Or is orientation in a classroom?

they weren't that expensive.. can't remember exactly, somewhere between 5 to 7 bucks or something

it is one of those times when you want to buy something and you talk yourself out of it but then later you regret not buying it :P

Oh dear, Carla. Sorry to hear of your stressful day. I hope the job gets finished on schedule.

Not sure if I'll be able to view your pics, Marilyn. FB crashed on me earlier this year and it pretty much freezes every time I try to go in it.

Ugh. Glad you're getting better. I've been to a couple of proper acupuncturists -- in addition to my regular chiropractor -- for extreme pain. I found them amazing. But you definitely need a Chinese doctor acupuncturist. They know what they're doing.

There is this lady that I work with (I have ranted about her b4 in the annoying co-worker thread). Let's just say that her wardrobe is a little outdated (by about 30 years). Well, she got a pair of gucci shoes and wears them with her usual polyester slacks and bizarre floral and patterened rayon tops. It looks bizarre.

Awwww, the poor thing. She probably thinks she looks lovely. We can't all be fashionistas! Tell her she looks nice. LOL

Jill have you run up the steps yet??

 Yes!! In fact, I did it on my first trip ever to Philly, the weekend I met my hubby for the first time! A friend picked us up and we had a while until our flight, so he took us to the museum and we ran up the steps and sat on Rocky's lap for a picture!

I had mice in my apartment in college in Barrie. It sucked sooo much. Live traps are good I guess, but do you know how many mice there are? They breed, they have babies, they carry disease and I know they're animals but the whole live trap thing just doesn't seem to work and becomes redundant after a while. Also you have to take them pretty far away from their homes to make sure that they don't return.

I did the whole live trap thing and just found it tedious. After about a month I just began putting out the poison. I bought little cups and put the pellets in them. It was always weird, I'd put the cups in the cupboards and check back about a half hour later and the poison would be all gone. Within that time frame each cup was empty.

Also you could speak to the landlords, it's also their responsibility to get rid of pests and they may hire someone to come in and do it for you.

Good luck Jill... having mice is no fun.

I've never seen Rocky!!

Don't go saying that around these parts.

Omg you'd think Rocky were a real person with the way they go on about him around here. I went to see the last rocky movie in the theatres with my husband a few years back and oh. my. god. People were cheering through the entire thing and at the end of the movie there was a standing ovation! I was like #######.

Ugh.... I don't know how many there are, I hope it's not a little family. I found a bag of popcorn ripped open (bite marks) and the popcorn was dragged about in the cupboard... I had it on the floor of the pantry, not knowing there were mice or I would never put food on the floor area! There were no droppings or anything, so the only evidence is the popcorn bag. I haven't actually seen them. I also bought those "screamers" that you plug in so maybe they all ran away already?! (wishful thinking...)

Good idea re: landlord... I'm going to send her an e-mail.
