I was reading some old posts on the forum and i sure hope I assembled our petition ok...I didnt photocopy any passport stamps but sent our expedia.com confirmation itinerarys of our 3 trips and a picture of us together and recent phone bill and email....hmmmm...well maybe the 1 picture of us in the grand canyon was proof enough of the 1 meeting being they have official passport pictures of us so they know what we look like ...i didnt want to go excessive in the package we sent I wanted to keep it sweet and simple so who knows....I read somewhere that someone was saying that expedia itinerarys are not "really" official but they have our credit card and name and email info and airline confirmation numbers on it so I figured it should be ok...I donooo...just sitting here stewing over it....

Did you include the boarding passes as well? If you only sent the itinerary there is a pretty good chance they will send a RFE from what I have read. Not really a big deal if they do this as it sounds like you would be able to produce photo copies of your passport anyway. Good luck and god speed!

copy of the entry/departure stamp page and boarding passes would be more useful because it showed that you actually entered the country to meet each other. itinerary may or may not help because it doesn't really prove that you actually boarded the air plane.

Good Luck!!

Concur!

I can gin up one on my computer right now stating I was in several countries.

However, passport stamps, a bit harder to fake.

I sent iteneraries and photos. Thats it, thats all! No RFE, pretty quick approval. We dated for 4 years and never thought to save boarding passes after each visit, as we were completely and blissfully unaware of the immigration process that would face us if and when we decided to marry. I'm Canadian and we cross into the US by land and use the airport in Buffalo NY, therefore niether of us had passport stamps as evidence. I wouldn't assume you'll get RFE, although it is a possibility.

me and my fiance ddnt send any boarding passes, he found them later on after we had sent everything, we just had the photos, and the passport stamps and some copies of the receipts for whatever purchases he had in the city.

he tried to send me the boarding passes (so i can use it as evidence for whenever we would have the interview. But he sent it thru regular mail and somehow the mail never arrived; it's been more than a month now, it was supposed to be returned to sender but i doubt it.
