Hey Sister Nawal!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Forecast for today: 98. Actual temperature right now at 3:56 pm: 106.

I can't wait til we can move and live somewhere with a/c. Olivia isn't the only one camping right now. :bonk:

It's like camping in a brick house in Hades with bugs that have no mercy.

I gave up and spend most of my time in our cold cell which is our bedroom at the center of the house that we keep the door closed on and run the a/c on and off to stay cool. The bed leaves something to be desired as it's a thin cotton pad on a delicate wood frame. Sometimes I roll over in the middle of the night and wake up in searing pain or numb hips. Waleed said the remedy is sleeping on the floor for a few nights which is supposed to make the bed seem cozy after that. Wish the western mattress in the living room fit on the bed. We went and priced western mattresses that would fit our bed and it's around 1200 L.E. We didn't get one yet because we're not even sure if it would fit the bed frame as the single western mattress we have is too long for it. I wish the laptop wire streched to the cold cell or I'd be in there right now. From a hole in our couch I learned that our furnature is really straw and wood frame wrapped in this surreal red and yellow cloth. :P But what reminds me most of camping in this "furnished" kitchen is the metal dishes, tin pots, and the propane tank hooked to our gas stove that you have to light and the never ending bugs and always feeling dirty when you come in from outside like you need to take a shower everytime.

Happy Hump Day!

Waleed said tonight before work that he can't wait till we are making the kind of pay check that lets us eat out without it being a big portion of a day in pay.

There are days when DH tells me how many hours he had to work for something. :innocent:

There must be some concert tonight on the main strip two block away because they're playing club music some of it Western louder than the call for prayers and the mosque is just behind us and half a block down.

Olivia, you seem really down and that isnt good for your health. Depression is horrible to fight over here when we are unhappy with how you are living. The only thing you can do is express yourself to your husband because he is the only one that can help you change your feelings at this point. If he doesnt seem to get it, keep telling him. I am a nagger. We still dont have a car over here and that is a big issue for me, but i havent let up about it, and we will be getting on in the next 2mths, God willing.

Take care hun. This will all be done before you know it.

Oh I'm happy when I'm with him but not the 12 hours while he's at work. I miss him! I am unhappy with some circumstances but I know they are a constant for here and temporary while I am here. I do nag for things and get them sometimes but that gets exhausting. I do have diversions though such as net and TV. Being sick constantly with one thing or another doesn't help. He calls me his kid wife. I asked him when do I get to act like an adult and you quit responding to me as the child? When will you start listening to me and engage me when I speak with you as an adult with valid complaints and I don't have to resort to the child to get your attention.

Thank you for your prayers and thoughts gals. I just wanted to let you know that incha allah a new Mena baby will be arriving around February 8, 2010 :D

We saw the little peanut this afternoon and heard the heartbeating. I was nervous because I had a scan 2 weeks ago that only showed the sac, but they had dated the pregnancy further along because of my LMP. Turns out I was just WAY too early and it was less than 5 weeks so what they saw was normal. Today there he/she was heart beating away and wiggling hehe God is good :star:
