I hope I didn`t ruin this thread with silly remarks ...sorry people...actually I think this is a valid thread for VJ.Very interesting indeed.

For me is kind of hard to talk on this thread because the reason why I came on VJ in the first place is gone...all I have to say is that IMO the important thing is how ourselves handle our own past before we get in and during a new relationship...if we get to handle our own past it`s more likely to have a good new relationship...it works both ways tho...not sure if I make any sense...just don`t feel like being more specific right now

Hmmm, well my ex-girlfriend and I have been friends/known each other for many years. I told Olga about my past because she asked but it was difficult to explain to her that we still work at the same place and as such see each other. Though recently she has been ill and in fact due to that illness is not going to be working where I work!

My ex was terrible, claiming to leave leave me for 1 reason then telling me it was another reason! I am glad she is my EX! I even told Olga if it wasn't for this person we never would have met, which is very true! If she did not choose to leave our relationship at that time, Olga may not have been available for me to meet, if she left me earlier or never came back into my life (she and I did not so much as speak for about 1 year!) then Olga may not have been available then either!

My ex often says "Things happen for a reason." Appearently she left me so I could meet and be with Olga!

My ex has seen photos of my trip and has said she will not interfere and if she does I'll change my phone number!

I wish it was easier to legally immigrate to Russia!

I would do that in a heartbeat and leave my past behind, where it belongs!

John and I know everything, well apart from you know real personal details about our ex'es. Now I have to say my ex was/is a real loon but John's was even better!!! she actually shot an ex partner of hers for leaving her!!!!!!! Thank god she has not been near me since we married , if she came without a gun I would be ok, I would knock her out!!! now with a gun would be different, so if you never ever hear from me again you know why!!!!
