My fiance sent packet 3 back to the frankfurt consulate on may 15... waiting and waiting and waiting for packet 4 and the interview date. we have tried calling the consulate several times (for a ridiculous cost btw!) and keep getting the same answer, "we do not have information on k1 visas" We then asked what we can do to get information on them, and they either dont know, or they tell us stupid things like, the department that handles k1 visas doesnt have a telephone number. finally i sent an email to the general consulate email address, but unfortunately have received no reply (that was about a week ago). any suggestions on what to do or experience with the frankfurt consulate? i thought things were supposed to get easier by now, but its turning into one constant headache!!! :help:
