does this expire too?

my parents were petitioned last 2007 and got the Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee Bill date December 31, 2007.

they are stuck in that step since then due to events.

can they still pay for that bill now? does this have expiration or grace period of some sort?

i hope someone can help me with this :)

my parents before was petition by my grandparents and they are late also in paying the Visa fee bill.

Timeline

The application is valid for 12 month. NVC will close the case if you do not complete the process. If the IV Fee Bill has been outstanding since 2007 then it is already too late. A phone call to NVC and talk to an officer will tell you for sure if the case is now closed. If it is then you will need to start from the begining with a new I-130.

thank you. i called the NVC as suggested. ur right its only valid for a year, although, the lady i spoke with said she can reset it and send my parents a new updated billing. thank you for ur help, guys. :)

Wow you are lucky.. I would make sure you have everything ready to send as soon as the new IV Bill is paid. Good luck for a speedy process.
