I am here on a K3 visa, I got my work visa a month back. My friend is into an MLM, she somehow got me into it by providing her husband's SSN and my name (before I got my EAD) - and she managed to get two sales under my name. Now that I have my SSN, she wants me to give my SSN, and have the transactions transferred. My question is that would it show on my record? Can it harm me, and show that I worked without an EAD.

Your friend does not sound on the up and up. I would stay away from this whole deal, you have your EAD now (it is not a "work visa") and you can seek any employment you want, stay away from these MLM things, they are often scams and you end up working to pay someone else.

Yes it can and probably will show on your records. I would suggest only giving out your social security numbers to legitimate emloyers and organizations.

If she using your name to committ fraud, then she's not really your "friend".
