Touch History

I don't check my USCIS account every day....some days I don't have access to the internet and other days I just don't bother to check. In reading some other postings, I noticed that some people were touched twice - on both 3 July and 4 July so I checked mine today and sure enough, my "Last Updated" date had changed to 07/04/2006. Is there any way to find out if I was touched on the 3rd as well? Not that it really matters to my case but I would just like to know. I'm wondering if I was touched on the 3rd and just don't know about it.

Is there any way of seeing the "touch history" on the USCIS website? I didn't print out what it said on my earlier touch (my initial one) so now I don't know exactly what it said. Should I print out the page when it says I've been touched so I don't lose it when the next touch comes? Is there any way of saving it on the USCIS website?

I don't think that there is anyway of saving it. Also, I don't think there is a need to print it out. Being touched can be anything really it doesn't necessarily mean that they have done something to the case to move it along. Just be glad that yours has been touched lol. I am still waiting and we have about the same timeline. I still haven't even received my RFE for my K-3 while others who have sent theirs in the same time have. I wouldn't worry about it.

Checked every day for AGES - I had no touches since the first one - which was a few days after they got the darn thing. After that it never changed and I started stressing over it - then I stopped, and I stopped going to the website daily as well - I never had another 'touch' until it was approved. (I know with IMBRA RFE's things are slightly different now, but even so I wouldn't check daily..you really will cause yourself more stress than you need right now)

Just open an account with USCIS.

Every time your case been touched or approved you will recieve an email from them.

Just a correction to Rosyanne's post - you will receive an email when the status changes; you won't receive an email when it is just a touch. All that changes is the date on the account, and the only way to determine that is to check the account yourself. Check daily if it will make you feel better, but I agree with Jaylen - it will probably just frustrate you when it doesn't change. I just remembered the date of the last touch and then checked up once or twice a week. Then when I noticed a touch, I checked more regularly to see if there were others.

Even if you're touched without knowing, it won't make much of a difference as touches are nothing major. We just obsess over them to see if our case still exists.

I wouldn't worry about the touches. Our application was touched for the very first time the day before it was approved.
