this is not really accurate you can give it a try:

The NVC uses DHL to ship their packages. Once you confirm the date that the I-130 was sent, you can go on the DHL website to approximately track your case. There are forums here talking about it but I'll sum it up below.

1. Go to: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef

2. In Reference, enter the info as follows:

EXP DD MMM YYYYA

EXP is constant

DD is the date before the day the NVC said they shipped the case.

MMM is the three letters representing the month the NVC shipped the case

YYYY is the year the NVC shipped the case

A is constant

For example, if the NVC says they shipped the case on February 12 2009, this would be entered as "EXP 11 FEB 2009A"

3. Date range for shipment - From: Enter the date of the day NVC said they sent the case

4. Date range for shipment - To: Enter todays date

5. Keep the rest of the fields blank

7. Once you enter the info, press "Track"

8. After a while you will see a list of all of the packages that left the NVC today. You need to search for the specific consulate, in your case Lima?

9. When you find the shipment the corresponds to your consulate, you will see the tracking number that you can record.

10. You can then track the shipment from the NVC to your specific Consulate

HOPE THIS HELPS A BIT (F)

 As she said, also its not really important to track your package, don't worry since NVC has alloted you an interview date, they will make sure that your package reaches consulate at time.

you can't really track your package depending on the interview date.

you might wanna continue calling NVC till they tell you that the package has been shipped out.

THAT date would be your reference number.

for example our case was completed may 27

our interview date was set on june 1

our interview date is july 16

however our case was shipped on june 12 and our reference was EXP 12jun 2009A

again, i drove myself nuts trying to figure it out as well and probably called the NVC 25 times to ask when it was shipped.

It will be at the embassy by your interview date, so no worries

I also asked questions about this matter. And, yes, it is possible to use your K3 interview date for CR1, however, as others said, you also have to prepare for K3 interview documents, such as DS156 and the additional form, which you have to pay at BDO branches. I'm not sure about this, but that's one of the answers i got. And, so to avoid confusion at the embassy, I decided to stick with my CR1 interview. But, if money won't be a problem to you, then everything will be alright. I can feel how much you wanted to be with you spouse very soon. Same here! Good luck! :-)

whether you can track it or not... just wait for the AVR in NVC to inform you that your documents was already forward to your Embassy.
