I am married to a US citizen and on July 11 is our one year Anniversary. I'm currently working in Saudi Arabia for 8 years now. Me and my wife is having some arguement about the filing of my petition here in Saudi Arabia instead of going back to the Philippines, I told her that it can be done here, but she is keep on insisting that it's not possible. I don't want to go back in the Philippines once the petition is being processm, It's because I know it will take more time to get an approval and I can't stay in the Philippines without a job while waiting for the interview and the whole thing to get it done.

Please, if there's someone knows here or have experience just like mine, please let me know, I need to make sure that it's ok to process the petition here in Saudi Arabia instead of going back to the Philippines, besides I know the processing here is a bit faster than in the Philippines.

I assume she is in Saudi Arabia with you. If so, U.S. citizens who can prove continuous legal residence in Saudi Arabia for a period of at least 6 months may file petitions at the U.S. Embassy Riyadh

Well as long as you have legal residence in Saudi and will be during the processing time, then you can interview there... She will need to file the requisite petition with the USCIS stateside first.

K-3 is a different scenario... a K-3 visa interview occurs in the country of marriage (unless that country is the USA)

I think this is possible.. we have 1 march Filer, Paris Heart.. her husband is from Algeria but he's currently

in France... where they hope to interview. Find the March 2009 Filer thread, she's usually available to help and is very accomodating
