So, I always thought I could change my address online without having to mail the AR-11 form. I realized today that I should have gotten some sort of notification in the mail that I needed to remove conditions soon.

My feelings are I probably did but it went to my previous address. When I moved in December, I definitely filled out the online form.

Was I supposed to fill out the form and mail it as well??

Why have the electronic form if you are going to make people do both.

Now I have NO CLUE what address I have on file with USCIS. How can I find that out?

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

haha

Useless line is exactly what it is. I just wish there was an easy way to find out what address you have with them. It's such a silly thing but now that I think about it, it's making me angry. haha

I have the same address as when I filed for AOS, so my AR-11 experience is prior to that..... which was done prior to the online ability..... I snail-mailed it. This is totally an aside, but I'll say it anyway :hehe: ..... I never received an acknowledgement but my husband (as the sponsor) did. (Even though it was me who sent them the I-865. icon2.gif) I find that rather rude. lol

Anyway, I am one of the people who did receive the reminder. It was mailed on June 2nd.

OH #######! I am looking at it now. It has a totally different date on there than the one I was going by! I can actually mail the stuff tomorrow. :bonk:

If you have the patience and can't deal with mis-information line, infopass it. They can update it pretty easily from there.

sister.... I sent in the form by mail and shazam.... 2 years later, they never got it. #######. I went to an InfoPass and got it kinda sorted out; but they kindly requested i sent it in again . I did, certified mail + return receipt <_<

I actually haven't called them, by the way. I don't call places like that usually because the chances of me getting an answer is slim and I don't have the time to wait on the phone. I may call them though this evening if I get that concerned about it.

It just bothers me because you should be able to have an online profile that they keep to show you what address they have on file for you.

I know, it svcks big time. Felt like I went to apologize for their mistake. :ranting: --- if the infopass office is not too far, you're better off just making an appointment and bringing in your receipt for the AR-11 and for the I-865 (I am guessing you did send both, since you are the FAB).

Thanks for this thread, It reminded me that I need to fill out an AR-11 for Mel. Do I need to use her name that is on the K1 visa, or her married name?

But isn't she at the destination address she wrote on her forms and told them during the interview and at the POE?

I have the same address as when I filed for AOS, so my AR-11 experience is prior to that..... which was done prior to the online ability..... I snail-mailed it.
