we will have our civil wedding ceremony on this sat to make the marriage offical, and plan to have the big formal wedding oversea in next year.

we are going to Judge's office, and only three of us. I was wondering if I should get one of my friend come over and take some photos for the later interview to show IOs.

Photos?

A marriage certificate would be better proof your married :)

Umit and I are doing the same thing, get the paper out of the way, then go back to Turkey for the blowout.

You might as well. If you don't need then, fine. If you do, you have them.

We went with two friends to the courthouse and they took a few pictures. Even though we had a formal wedding in Bermuda later, it seemed weird to let the legal wedding happen with no pictures at all. I tend to be sentimental.

Should you? From the AOS perspective, no it wouldn't be necessary - on a personal level? Sure why not (great for the photo albumn)...

You can. I brought some photos from our civil ceremony but no one asked to see them. More is better when it comes to evidence though.
