i guess I am going to have to do the cold water thing but that means I have to get up early tomorrow :P

I have some turkey soup simmering away in the crock pot.. just through a bunch of stuff in there.. it smells good already..

the turkey I made turned out so good... I just put some apples, onions, celery, cinnamon, fresh rosemary and fresh sage in the turkey...

yey, a turkey. I am cooking my first thanksgiving dinner - we are celebrating tomorrow. I made cranberry sauce - it tastes great and today I made stuffing.

Cranberry sauces

- cranberries, 1 cup of sugar, half a cup of squeezed orange juice, half a cup of water, bring to a boil till they pop. yummy

stuffing: bought flavoured cubes, added mushrooms, celery and 2 cups of butter/water brought to a boil.

The Lord is my strength and my shield,

My heart trusted in Him and I am helped,

therefore my heart greatly rejoices,

and with my song I will praise Him.

We just had a pizza we picked up at safeway, nice enough except it was overcooked, so I had very little - now i'm having a bagel :hehe:

I looked at turkeys today as I want one now, but they are 30 dollars for the very small (think chicken size) ones. I guess I should have just bought a chicken!
