Take out tonight from Wild Ginger, a vegetarian chinese restaurant around the corner from home. They make the best EVERYTHING so not sure what to order.... then gonna veg out in front of the telly and watch the Phillies game :D

Home made burgers and fries!! No beer, stil recovering from my cold!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

so I think I am making a salad with grilled chicken for dinner tonight..

I would like to make something to serve with it but I can't think of what to make :unsure:

And how do you know those aren't in your fish sticks, hmm? :hehe:

My husband is getting all these daily medical tests and he can't eat certain things for 3 days. I know one of them is beef, but I can't remember the rest. Lamb, I think. And something else. It's quite annoying, really, because I'm not sure what I can make. icon2.gif Maybe I'll make a seafood chowder.

Tonight I'm making wonton soup. Well I'm actually teaching my son how to make it, so I'll be directing him in the kitchen... lets hope it turns out good. :D

Well, we were both feeling under the weather last night so I made chicken soup and salad. I have recently been informed that my husband has a work event to attend this evening (it's his day off icon2.gif) so I will be dining alone. I don't know what I'm having yet. But I do still have some chicken wings I brought home from The Anchor Bar in Buffalo, so maybe I'll have those. (The Anchor Bar is in Buffalo Airport now! Yay!! So I have medium wings and a Caesar (drink) every time I fly out of there. lol. My husband is addicted to it now, too. He finally got to try real Buffalo chicken wings and he loves them!)
