I made a roast on the weekend and sliced some of the leftovers up and made a beef stroganoff last night. It was pretty good. Just mixed the sour cream up with the leftover gravy and added some water.

Tonight I don't know what we'll have. It's raining and cool here today so I think some of my homemade tomato soup, and some ham and cheese in puff pastry.

Ohh ham and cheese in puff pastry sounds really good - you have given me an idea! I have some puff pastry in the freezer, think I will make cheese puffs tomorrow!

For tonight we are having French onion soup, courtesy of M&M meats and some garlic bread, might have a small salad as well. For dessert, I had some fruit to use up so i'm just have that in the pan now, making a caramel sauce, which will go over some frozen vanilla yoghurt!

My step dad took me and my mom out for dinner ( I came over today and helped her a bunch with yard work) and we went to Don Cherries. I had a wrap and "cherry chips".

We had the tomato soup and ham and cheese puff pastry last night. It was good as usual. I picked up some Italian sausage ravioli at Costco last week, so I think that's what we'll have tonight. I'm going to some training today, so I won't be home until almost dinner time so it's quick and easy.

Clubhouse sammich and baked potato chips.. basically potatoes sliced thin and thrown into the oven.

It's strange, but I have never thought to make my own baked chips. Are they good? On a potato scale of 1-10 with 10 being delicious and one being - not delicious, how would you rate those baked chips?

Last night I made pork chops with mushrooms and onions, boiled potatoes, and broccoli with cheese sauce. I was trying to use up vegetables in my Mum's fridge. lol. I also made a couple of chicken pot pies for this evening. Well, one is for this evening.... the other is in the freezer.

I hate cooking in someone else's kitchen. icon2.gif

They're good, they have that kettle cooked feel/look/taste, sometimes I'll make them in the deep fryer and sometimes I'll bake them.

I'd rate them at about a 7... still have to improve the craft but they are pretty good for what they are.

Donne moi une poptart!
