dinner tonight was beef, mushrooms, peas in a cream sauce over farfalle

I am excited about tomorrow's dinner ... I am trying a recipe for greek lemon chicken I found online, very simple which always makes me happy. The chicken is marinating in olive oil, spices, garlic and lemon juice overnight.

So I did make a meat pie for dinner. Oh and I had the puff pastry and promptly forgot to defrost it, but I did have a couple of pie crusts in the freezer so just used one of those on top, it was good!

And in the process of looking for my pyrex dish for the pie, I found my blender!

That sounds interesting. Do you have a recipe?

I ended up making a green Thai chicken curry last night. It was delicious. I also made Cassie's cream cheese danishes again. This time I used strawberries and blueberries. Strawberries have way too much moisture in them so I won't do that again.

I also made a beef barley soup so we'll have that tonight.

Well tomorrow is hubby's bday, so tonight we're going out to eat at his (and mine) favourite Mexican jam. They have "Margarita Mondays" And the best chips and guac ever. So I can't wait for that! The reason we're going out the night before his bday is because I'm having the in-laws over tomorrow night for cake and ice cream

I'm going to make the curry butternut soup that Carla and krikit provided recipes for last week.

The only plain yogurt for garnish they had at the store was a big container, so I might also do some baking of some sort to use more of that. I'm thinking banana bread.

tonight I tried a zucchini and ricotta cheese strudel that I bought at Aldi's - which turned out to be really good - along with spinach and asparagus. Yumm!
