We had Five Guys Burgers and Fries since it is new to the area, and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed. I much prefer In-N-Out Burger. It's probably a good thing that I do and that we don't have one here though! I might be eating there an awful lot if we did! :)

Five guys is way better then IN n Out. I like in n out but the last times i had them, the burgers were raw, like the just cook the outside, 10 secs on each side, might as well served raw burgers.

made me sick and I have not had a in n out burger for long time.

Nev - The eggplant sounds yummilicious!!! I adore eggplant :)

Last night, we had lemon pepper marinated chicken on the grill, mashed potatoes and veggies.

I am starving now. I'm at my office (have to hospitalize a client and just waiting on the hospital to sort out admission stuff). I think I am going to heat up a Lean Cuisine and pretend it is Nev's eggplant or Ryck's bbq from the other day :)

As for the MIL thing from Trailmix, my MIL was/still sometimes is like that too! One night, she called us 32 times because she was angry at my now deceased FIL, and left 16 angry messages for us angry that my husband wouldn't pick up and listen to his parent's problems. Yikes...memories...

:o

Whoa. That is waaaaaaaaay over the top.

I don't cook meat anymore so it's an easy filler for what was on our plates.

Are you a vegetarian now, Nevada?

and YUCK for any seafood meals :P

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I (L) seafood. :luv:

Speaking of seafood  .... my husband took me to my favourite restaurant last night..... Sushi Katana. nom nom nom nom nom

Tonight I have a craving for smoked ribs and homemade beans. I need to get my butt in gear. Hmm. But I've got some asparagus I should cook too, so maybe we'll have that also.

Well today we're going to our favourite Mexican place for lunch, Las Margaritas.... it's always so good and filling that's all I eat for the whole day, so I won't have any dinner. The margaritas and guac is so yummy :luv: And the sun is shining so hope to get a spot on the patio!

Mrs. T's are really good! No, the Wegman perogies are actually Wegman brand. But Mrs. T are a close second!

Back to the grind as far as supper is concerned. I just thought about this issue....maybe it depends on where you're from? We also called dinner the noon meal, if it was hot. Lunch, if it was cold. Supper was the evening meal. Crazy I know!

Tonight we'll have an Asian salad. Cold!

I just want to say that I love my non HFCS ketchup!!

I bought some organic ketchup at the Whole Foods the other day. I was tired of my recipes tasting completely different with the regular Heinz ketchup you get here. I made homemade beans with it. They turned out quite yummy. Plus, my homemade cocktail sauce for the shrimp turned out much better too.

Last night I made a roast chicken dinner with roasted herbed potatoes, carrots, and Napa cabbage. Tonight I'm thinking tuna quesadillas and caesar salad.

 That's awesome that you just had perogies for supper. I could do that any day. I love them with sour cream and fried onions.

No not a strict one. I just refuse to prepare meat anymore. I mean when I go out sometimes I'll eat it, but not a lot.
