Oh yeah, I heard that before about soy products! That sucks, I'm glad I'm not a male as I eat soy/tofu at least once per day. Soooo good! I haven't tried tofu tacos before yet, but I'm sure I'd love them

contrarily, soy has an opposite effect on women..FYI to TTCers ;- )

We went out again. I was about to make dinner and Mike called to tell me that someone rear ended him, so I had to drive over to the scene and grab Ethan's hockey equipment that was in Mike's car because he had practice. I gave the lady who hit him the stink eye.

But ya we had wawa hoagies after Ethan's practice.

Tonight we'll have what we were supposed to have last night black bean and lemon couscous and crispy fried tofu.

Yikes! Hope Mike is OK.

MMMM crispy fried tofu, that sounds SO good!

I used to really love eating tofu. There were a few places here that made tofu tacos that were really good. But Mel has banned me from eating any tofu/soy producs since reading this article LINK

Marilyn - I've been hearing a lot about those Fresh and Easy markets. I have yet to find one anywhere near me. But the concept of the whole store chain is intriguing. They use more efficient building materials, lighting, water spouts, etc, and are able to cut their prices and maintain the same profit margins of the other stores

I love the store.. I go there to pick up odds and ends during the week.. the Fresh and Easy brand stuff is pretty good quality.. I haven't really eaten anything I don't like yet.. and the fruits and vegies there are super yummy...

they don't have very many people working in the store.. you ring up your own groceries but there is usually someone there to bag them for you...

they seem to be springing up all over the place here.. there is even two on one street.. maybe 5 minutes apart...

I told my husband it's a free for all since he's at home today with my son who is feeling under the weather.

So I am going to have my Canadian tuna with rice...seriously its my favorite thing to eat and I know it sounds gross, but it's not its SO GOOD!

That leaves me with two cans. :(

Made baked porkchops in sauerkraut (really yummy), sauteed yellow squash in an olive oil, balsamic vinegar and seasonings, baked potatoes and Caesar's Salad - with lemon pound cake for dessert.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

So you aren't going back to Canada until November, it's the end of September, you had 3 cans but in a moment of weakness you are consuming one of them, which will only leave you with two. Depending on when you are actually going to arrive in Canada that leaves you only 1 can per month for October and November writing.gif

We had roast beef, potatoes and carrots. Well my Husband had carrots, I don't eat cooked carrots generally. I got a large roast so I could make a meat pie as well in a couple of days.

I didn't end up eating it....

My mom is way up North right now moose hunting so she won't be back in civilization until next week. I may ask her to send me down six cans.

Six should be okay.
