Aww indeed! That is sweet :-).

Joe is working out of town today and has a business meeting that is lasting into dinner so I am on my own tonight. Having left over zucchini stuffed with cornbread, hehehe.

Oh and this afternoon I visited a Trappist Monastery that is nearby. I have never been before but have heard great reviews about their jams and fudge. I ended up buying some homemade strawberry rhubarb jam - I love rhubarb and it doesn't grow here - so while this is really the What's for Dinner Thread I just thought I would add that breakfast tomorrow is going to be toast with homemade strawberry rhubarb jam!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Awww E, your hubby is sweet :)

The only fish market I can remember from living in CT is the Village Fish Market in Wallingford. The owners were my neighbors when I was growing up and I remember having lots of cookouts and they provided yummy seafood. I think I was eating clams on the halfshell when I was in elementary school! Not sure how they are now, but it might be worth a try :)

Dinner tonight was tomato and mozzarella ravioli with sauteed mushrooms and then a side of broccoli and cheese. I know, weird combo right, but I always like Declan to have veggies at dinner, so I made them for him and ended up eating some too. And Declan absolutely scarfed down the ravioli .... it was adorable. They are pretty large and I cut up 2 for him, turned my back for literally a second and they were gone!!! SO I had to give him more :)

We had quesidillas for dinner, just plain cheese ones - woot!

Since we are using up our groceries we don't have that much food in the house, especially zero snacks - probably a good thing haha

I'm going to make corned beef brisket for dinner tonight with rice and - something.

Well, we went out for supper last night to a great restaurant. Lottawatta Creek.

The menu was TOO much. Gosh, I always have a hard time picking out food from a regular menu, and when it's a huge menu, good luck! I just close my eyes sometimes and point my finger. I had the prime rib of beef.

Tonight my falafel and stuffed tomatoes.
