We made this amazing baked mac and cheese recipe that we saw on the food network, baked chicken thighs with this amazing lemon spice marinade that we saw on the food gawker blog and then I made some broccoli on the side.

Then we each had a small vanilla rainbow sprinkles cone from Mister Softee

My husband and I have a Mr. Softee jar on our shelf.

Mr. Softee is like a crack dealer but in dairy form.

What do you get? I want to try the cherry dip next time, because it really intrigues me, but I don't want to hate it and waste my Mr. Softee, hahaha

So we had the Marie Callenders beef pies last night and I said to my Husband - they are pretty good, they don't taste weird. I guess that is my criteria for frozen foods.

I haven't eaten anything in a couple of days. I had some chicken noodle soup last night and that seemed to help. Not sure if I'll eat anything today. At the moment I'm thinking I might make my husband some chicken and steamed broccoli and cauliflower, and I'll just have the veggies. Or not. I may just have soup again. We'll see. I honestly don't feel like eating anything at all. :(

Yeah, i've been feeling like that some days too, so I hear you. That's when I will eat soup, or mashed potatoes, yoghurt, just those basic foods.

Yeah, I just feel like bland basic stuff when I feel like that too. I don't feel like progressing any further than a clear soup at the moment, but yogourt will probably be my first solid.

We're going to grill some steak and chicken that we've had marinating since yesterday.

We'll also make baby red potatoes on the grill and some mixed veggies. We also have leftover mac and cheese!

It was delish! We had the brie to start, and then we all got the steak, frites and salad. For dessert we got a creme brulee and profiteroles. We also shared a lovely bottle of red wine. It was very yummy and I can't wait to go back!!

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

So tonight we are going to have chicken salad sandwiches with asparagus. I just felt like having them so whipped up some chicken salad. I will also put (canned) asparagus in the sandwich - I really like chicken and asparagus in a sandwich - in fact it's my favourite!

left over cold roast chicken, corn on the cob, and zucchini, onion, potato and eggplant stirfried together with seasonings. Lots and lots of zucchini now - and yellow squash starting!

Do you have the link to the chicken recipe? Or for that matter the mac and cheese? Thanks.

I made a homemade ham and cajun bean soup yesterday which was very good. 15 bean! We were tooting for hours.

I have errands to run today and one is to Costco, so I think I'll pick up a roast chicken there.
