it is one of those days were I don't feel like cooking so I picked up a Marie Calendars Beef pot pie for the hubby and I bought myself a Lean Cuisine rigatoni with meatballs in fire roasted tomato sauce..

I came home from work early today, went to my butcher and picked up a ribeye, so I bbq'd that, with baked potato (on the bbq), asperagus (drizzled olive oil and kosher salt) grilled on the bbq and sauted mushrooms (a little butter, salt and garlic powder)

It was yummmmmmy! :D

Hubby was sick, so after I picked up Declan from daycare, I ran to the store and bought a roasted chicken for us to eat. We also had some frozen vegetable pasta thing in a cheese sauce. Not great, not horrible.

Hubby had ginger ale and Pepto Bismol.

I remember being sick as a little kid and my Dad giving me some of that. Well, there was bright pink puke everywhere within a matter of minutes. I've never had it since. :dead:

Probably not the best story to be telling in the dinner thread. LOL

Last night we had the homemade soup with a salad of romaine, radicchio, fresh basil and parsley, and mushrooms and parmesan slices. Tonight we'll probably have the chicken pot pie with broccoli and cauliflower. And maybe some cheese sauce.

Pepto Bismol now has chewables or swallow tablets - they are great! Just like taking a Tylenol, no more pink liquid stuff!

Tonight we are having cheese ravioli in a blush sauce, maybe I'll make some biscuits too

I looked in the freezer and just closed it - that's not really helpful.

Been there!

Not sure what to do tonight. I'm working from home so I can probably run out and grab something from the grocery store...just don't know what

I was out getting my hair done so I stopped by the grocery store for one item. Well, 7 grocery bags later..... . They had some lovely fresh brussell sprouts out so now we're having those with the chicken pot pie. Oh, and I'm making a spinach dip too. Damn you spinach dip makers you! *shakes fist*
