I don't know if anyone has tried these before but they are really good and perfect for hamburgers etc., Nature's Own sandwich rounds.. They have no artificial flavours or colours and no HFCS..

we had them today with our pork sandwiches... mmm yum! the whole sandwich was yum!!

Yeah, we've tried those. I bought a package and Joe toasted them for breakfast while they lasted - don't think they ever got served with anything other than peanut butter - but he liked them so I guess I should pick up some more.

Dinner last night was horrible! I ended up eating salad. And then I was starving later so I nuked some frozen mac and cheese. Thank goodness I had some. lol. Tonight's meal is meat and cheese ravioli. I'm thinking it's hard to ruin a ravioli, so wish me luck. lol

Husband said that grilled cheese I made was the best sandwich he has ever had... he was still talking about it today. laughing.gif

It certainly sounded yummy.

I tried those at my aunt's house.

Left over vegetable lasagna tonight with a side of spinach and artichoke hummus and pita bread that we picked up at Costco - it looked really good - along with a salad. The hummus was really good - good enough to have a snack of it later on with some more pita bread!

Tonight I made that grilled cheese with pine nut pesto again (husband wanted it) and some german potato salad.

For an appetizer I made this walnut butter spread to go with some of the sour dough which I cut up into squares... topped it with a little goat cheese and a little bit of roasted yellow pepper. It was pretty good stuff.

Donne moi une poptart!

Grilled some short ribs Korean bbq style last night. Served it with angel hair pasta, as I did not have the time to go to the store to get some rice noodles. It was pretty good!

Tonight, we will have the left overs :D

as anyone tried making one ingredient ice cream? I have seen the recipe on the web and I had been meaning to try it and finally I did the the other day because the hubster has been wanting ice cream..

all you do is take some really ripe but not overly ripe bananas and slice them up and put them in the freezer for a few hours and then you throw them in the blender and blend away. You might have to stop every once in awhile and scrape down the sides but in about 5 minutes or so you will have an ice cream looking substance.

I did add some milk to mine because I think my bananas were a little too frozen. I also added an Oreo cookie because the hubster likes chocolate. he said it was good and he did eat it all and wants me to make him some more soon..

Marilyn -- I saw a show on TV where the host made ice cream from basic ingredients without any equipment. Seemed pretty simple. Anyway if I find that recipe Ill let you know. You seem to have done a great job with your home made version though :)

I picked up a bag of fresh cheese tortellini from Costco. I guess it is fresh pasta, just with lots of additives :P Where I lived in TO, there is this little Italian deli that sold actual bags of fresh pasta that was probably prepared that day or so. Anyway I guess this is the closest I will get to it!

I am planning on simmering some pasta sauce and adding some ricotta to make it a wee bit decadent and just toss the tortellini in it for dinner.
