Oh man, I miss the Danforth area... there is this little Greek restaurant at Pape I think and they have the best gyros and the hottest male servers :D And oh the honey balls... YUMMM.

Well, I forgot I was thinking of having crabcakes and salad last night, so we had ribeye steak with roasted beets and steamed broccoli. Guess what tonight's dinner is?

We had the shishkabob! It was delayed, somewhat, while my husband ran out to refill the propane tank. <_< We took a chance on how much gas was left because the movers will not transport a tank with gas in it. I'm guessing we're going to be doing a lot of bbq'ing in the near future. lol

Tonight.... greek salad? and maybe crabcakes?

Yes, drat the propane tanks - we had 2 in Florida, one we had never even filled or used - but we couldn't bring them back. It crossed my mind to just throw the empty one in the truck but they would probably have empty propane tank sniffer dogs at the border.

That M&M fish we had the other night was delightful. Might have it again tonight!

I've got a pot roast in the crockpot with onions, celery, carrots and mushrooms. Simmering in a cream of mushroom and onion soup mix mixture. The only problem is, I bought a huge roast that took up a majority of the crockpot because my dad and his girlfriend were visiting. So, not enough room to throw potatoes in. Of course, dad left earlier than planned to drive back to CT because he was worried about the weather if he stayed until tomorrow:( I guess I could cook potatoes on the stove ... but I think I'll serve the roast and gravy over egg noodles instead.

I have had some dreams for ideas for supper but it was always something I made at least once. You will have to let us know how his dream meal turned out.

We got a corn beef brisket with red potatoes, carrots, and cabbage, we use 2 cans of beer and topped it off with water all in the crock-pot.

I made a heavenly cauliflower and carrot soup yesterday. Roasted the cauliflower, carrots and onions with spices in the oven for 45 min. at 400 degrees until tender. Blended with my immersion blender this mixture into two cans of chicken broth (fat free, low sodium), then added two cups or thereabouts of skim milk. It was very delicious. I like my soups thick. I made some homemade biscuits to accompany it.

Tonight I have a fillet of salmon. We'll have asparagus and rice with that.

I made spinach noodle bake (yummy alfredo sauce with spinach/garlic noodles and chopped spinach) and a tomato sandwich to give my meal some color besides green. Dessert was some key lime yogurt.

That spinach noodle bake sounds very good! Do you have a recipe? I laughed at the tomato sandwich, gosh, there is NOTHING better in the summer, with fresh tomato's anyway...than a tomato sandwich!

Last night we had salmon. I marinated it in a soy, orange juice, ginger mixture. We had rice and asparagus with that. Tonight I'm thinking perhaps good ol' fashion spaghetti! With meat sauce and veggies.

I made hamburgers, potatoes and spinach last night. The spinach was from frozen. I normally never buy frozen vegetables, because I don't like them. I bought the spinach to make spinach dip, but since I hadn't I thought, what the heck, I should use that. It was yukky. It was just all wrong, from the texture to the taste. Threw it away.
