dvd wise I want Confessions of a shop o holic and I do like the girls next door.

One of the chicks Kendra is getting hitched this weekend and having a baby, another is around the world doing the sexy beach show and what about that ditz that was on Dancin with the stars???? I guess she got the boot since Heff no longer has the trio but the twins. Do you think part of that agreement is that they bang him? just wondering?

Jackie continued get well wishes

Amanda, 4 more days?? :P

Jeanne I tried to tell my hubby that making changes come a little at a time you can't try to tackle it all at once. We started together at the Y last night. I am proud of him. He has cut down a little on the smokes but I have told him now that he is working out try no more late night eating and cut out the sweet drinks. Talk about sugar. Yeah my husband is one of those sugar addicts too. I never saw a man drink so many fluids in my life. Water, coffee, soda, juice you name it. If he could have a 2 liter of soda everyday he would be happy. So I said, let's start by cutting out the soft drinks and juices. Just water and the occasional coffee. He agreed. He also is gung ho! about the membership so now let's see if he goes as much as he says. I have to admit, we feel better already and it was really nice for us to do something together and encourage one another. :D

Lisa that's great you have given him encourgement! You are right when it comes to baby steps. Take one obstacle at a time. For him it was mainly the smoking and sugar (as if that's not enough)! As much as I don't like commercials I do believe they played a big part with him seeing how "healthy" you can be if you want to be. We are bombarded with healthy this and healthy that. He's doing cardio every other day and free weights the other days. I can see a difference with his attitude and how much better he feels. Keep up the encourgement!!!

um ladies.......your attention is needed.....

With my wife and daughter, that only happened when they first came here, welcome to the USA, since then, I travel with them with no problems, but I will risk jail by breaking necks if they pulled that sh!t. Really bugs me when they let Arabs pass but pick on white people.

so husband comes home the other night looking like death. He sat down on the couch and just sighed louder and louder. Then he whipped open a plastic bag and started breathing into it. That's when I got nervous and went over to him and he just held his hand up like "don't talk...wait". Well five freakin' minutes later he's still breathing in and out of the bag but I noticed something....

I asked, "do you have the hiccups?" to which he responded "yes", while looking like "please take me to the hospital".

I gave him a glass of water and told him to drink it while bent over and lifting his head up. The hiccups disappeared in less than 30 seconds. He sighs heavily and said that he's had the hiccups for THREE HOURS at work and he feels so sick.

Is YOUR mena man this dramatic about the hiccups? Did they teach them in Egypt that they can die from them? And what's with breathing in a bag????

LOL I dont have any stories of George having hiccups, but it takes me back to when i was pregnant with josh....

i was having an ultrasound in ny and i called to give George an update----the tech told me look at the screen baby has the hiccups. So i told George what she said...he calls me back an hr later panic in his voice 'jess i talked to rachida and she said you should go to emergancy--babies inside dont get hiccups they must be seizures.'

I said yes hun they do get hiccups, he argued with me 10mins telling me no no no because they arent breathing air so how can they get hiccups.

OYYYY!! I told my obgyn at my next appt and he just starred at me like i was nuts.

Thank you Jeanne I want this to be over with and back to 100%. I'm exhausted from it really. It's been a month now. I keep asking Waleed when will this be over when do I get to stop medications and be better I am so tired all the time. To the other sickies it's the pits. Take care of yourselves and get well soon. To skeber how exciting! Turns out Waleed said we would go to Cairo after his first payday in July. He is thinking to make a 48 hours trip and leave me home to rest because he thinks I'm not well enough to travel like this yet.
