Me and my husband attended Filipino-American Feast here in Cleveland yesterday, obviously adobo and inasal were the most favorite dishes and dinuguan was the least for both Filipinos and Americans. And for me the appropriate dish for 4th of July party is inasal or barbecue.

I always think that Bibingka cassava (cassava cake) as a truly yummy filipino dessert. Dont get me wrong, i love leche flan and its easy to make, but many other cultures have the same/similar flans...

Cassava cake is once of my favorite back in the philippines. We have cassave planted around our house in the province. Cassava cake with melted cheese... Yummy.. Unfortunately, i could not find cassava in asian store here.
