July 3 appt???

We got a notice for a July 3rd appt for biometrics, but it was my understanding that July 3 was a federal holiday ( I know cause I get the day off of work). I'd like to call and confirm that the offices will be open to save us a headache but cant find a number - except the 1800 one that doesnt give the right options. Anyone have a number I can call to speak to someone who would know if the USCIS offices will be open that day?!

Many people have gone to get the fingerprints before the apptmt date with no problem, so maybe that can be an option for you.

hi, true that 1-800 number doesnt have the options for the Biometric appt. But try to call that 1-800 number again, and choose the "IF YOU WANT TO ORDER FORMS" option, and just stay in line until a "real person" answer your phone. Hope it works for you, because it always does for me, i always pick that option to talk to a person, no matter what my question was.

I tried that and eventually I got disconnected >_>

The July 3rd appt is kinda idea - I woudnt have to miss work to go, which I dont have a problem with, but the convenience factor is there.
