I see 4 out of 13 positively identified as being born in Mexico. Nowhere does it state that they are illegal. In any event, this is a far cry from "30%".

Most of them have Hispanic names.

I am no fan of illegal immigration, but in the long run, America will be fine. I for one choose to ignore the current 'brown scare' tactics.

For fun lets start our history lesson in 1882 with the Yellow Scare, and Congress passing the Chinese Immigration Act. Remember for fun that it was not until 1952 that Congress finally got it's last law off the books regarding allowing Asian's to become US Citizens...

I don't believe this country can't go the way of Rome due to complacency. It's not the 1880s anymore, it's 2009 and we have tremendous budget shortfalls, growing unemployment, huge trade deficits, a declining standard of living, and burgeoning debt. Much of that debt has been caused by lenient treatment and coddling of illegals, with taxpayers forced to pay for their education, welfare, and health care.

Your kind is a broken record in that you "ignore" the welfare of the country while tossing off warnings as scare tactics based on race. And you're proud of that kind of apathy. I don't understand that, but it must be so very convenient to be able to ignore real problems while pigeonholing and smearing those who don't ignore it as racists and xenophobes.

We don't know and there are policies in place to make sure we will never know.

(I'm referring to the "sanctuary" ordinances which do not allow police or municipal employees to enquire about one's immigration status.)
