Have K1 interview with my Peruvian fiancee this month. She lived in Chile for a year, so we require police certificate from there. Here is what we have done.

1) Chilean embassy filed request, was told these are currently delayed 7 months if they come at all

2) contacted Civil Registry in Chile and was told if you came in person you must have a valid ID (her Chile ID has expired and therefore can not be used)

3) contacted International Police in Chile, they do not issue any kind of police certificates

Does anyone have any advice, or experience with this? I think that Chile should be on the list of countries that do not issue police certificates. TIA
