hello, i was just wondering so i posted this. How well do you think you know your spouse before you decided to marry him/her?

Was it an "instant-get-to-know-each-other" or "i-need-time-to-get-to-know-you-first"? Since this is an interracial relationship.

well ours was kinda arranged, but did not take long to turn into love marriage.

we met first time may 20th and we got married on june 16th.

so we kinda knew at the first glance that this is it!

We've been together close to 5 years now and know each other like the back of our own hand. Faults, habits, the good and bad. Long distance forces you to talk and talk and talk and talk so instead of being distracted by the in-person physicality, there is plenty of time to explore and discover the mind and emotions behind a person. That's one advantage long distance relationships have over in-person relationships at the courting stage.

You never know someone until after marriage and some married time ha after talking, one visit i guess we knew, then another trip to marry THEN about a year or so wait on the papers. But like i say you will never know all the little things unless you actually LIVE together for some time.

3 years together before we got engaged. It was a long distance relationship but I spent a lot of time in Peru visiting him and I got Vonage so we talked to each other like all the time for free, lol.

I would have to say, I knew all of his bad habits before we moved in together because of all the time I stayed with him in Peru. It's true, you never actually know anyone until you live with them though.
