Hello Everyone!

My fiance usually purchase an asian international calling card but the quality is not good because phone connection is bad...either I cannot hear him nor he cannot hear me clearly, a lot of static on the line....

I use Globe tipid card and it's cheaper and more clear.....We are now enjoying the use of chikka messenger....Text messaging from PC to cellphone....additional way of communication for a long distance relationship.... (F)(L)

i never use skype to chat since my mom is using YahooMessenger... but i do like skype whenever i call her (landline/cellphone). though yes you can definitely chat w/ or w/ out a webcam, and voice chat on skype for free. the only time you have to pay is when you or your fiance will call to your landline or cellphone

go to www.gtalk.us/pinless i use this to call morocco cell. it has 1 minute rounding, no fees. does not charge u if they dont answer or if the phone is off, so no wasting minutes. i'm not sure on price per minute for u though. i pay about 25 cents per minute with this and its worth it coz i dont waste minutes. the connection is good too. u can set up your calls to the same number by dialing you access number. i have mine programmed in my cell and dont have to input a pin number, its great!

I just switched to skype. I bought my fiancee a laptop and going to pay for her internet connection. The internet connection is only about 30 us dollars. That is so much cheaper then what i was spending a month on phone cards 100 to 200 every month. Skype is amazing you can chat for free and best of all if you skype to skype user is free anywhere in the world plus you get video. Plus whenever your SO gets here they can talk and see there family anytime. I just love it...

We use Skype as well and really like it. Used to use Yahoo messenger but we always seemed to have problems with it locking up which is a real pain. Since switching to Skype we have had no problems at all and the video is much clearer. Mike

I use a service called enjoy prepaid, have been using it for about 8 months now and am very happy with it. It automatically recharges on my visa and if you give them your home phone number, it doesnt ask for a pin# if you call from that phone. I used I-call-abroad before and was very unhappy with their service and poor connections. At this point I would recommend enjoyprepaid ..here is their website http://www.enjoyprepaid.com/ I want to say the rate is about 16 cents a minute to the phlippines calling from the US. Hope this helps someone.

We stopped fooling around with call cards because most of them will rob you blind. We've been using Rebtel for almost 2 years now and I could never be happier. My poor David, he put up with call cards for 2 years when I was still in Pinas and boy, the frustrations wore on him.

Skype would have been good if my family has computer and internet connection...

YOUR CHOICES...

WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER: pretty good reception

SKYPE: okay reception (Qatar/USA)

YAHOO: okay reception (normally cam is delayed)

MAGIC JACK: you need to purchase the connection - one connection for you and one connection to the philippines but it is

unlimitted call (need an DSL internet connection for both users)

G3 TELECOM: like a rechargeable phone card that you need to dial an access number...
