They wouldn't even let him pass a certain point at the airport in the Casablanca You will get your visa, I know it seems like it's might not ever happen but it will. It's better to do things the legal way so that the two of you can have a good life together. Besides you would never want your husband to come here without proper paper work because if he is cought he could get a life time ban, ALLAH have mercy you would never want that to happen.

Does your husband have any friends or family in the US? Any citizen or LPR can be a co-sponsor. They don't have to be family, or even a close friend. They only have to meet the financial requirements, and be willing to submit their financial info and agree to the terms of the I-864.

Don't do anything desperate. It might result in you being with your husband for a short time, but would probably result in you being separated again for a much longer time, and could even result in him being forever banned from the US. If you really feel that desperate, try to find a way to go visit him in Morocco while you're waiting for your case to proceed.

What visa have you applied for? Did you apply for CR1 or K3?

we applied for the k3.....

I think you did the CR1 because the K3 you won't have to do any financial information. So it might be a good Idea to fill out the I129f and do the K3 visa. The only problem is that you will have to do the financial information after he gets here. But by that time I am sure you might have better alternatives.

According to the OP's timeline, she filed both I-130 and I-129F. She's received NOA1 for the I-129F, so she did file for K3.

I'm not aware of any consulate that doesn't require an affidavit of support from K3 applicants. At many consulates, the only difference is they use the I-134 affidavit for K1 and K3 applicants and I-864 for the others, but some consulates use the I-864 for all.

What would be the logic behind making this exception for K3 applicants, when they require an affidavit before issuing a visa to K1 and IR1/CR1 applicants?

Wrong, with k-3 petitioner will have to provide i-134 which has the same poverty level requirement as i-864.

If OP doesn't earn the required level of income, she will have to find a co-sponsor. And to OP, whenever your petition does get approve at USCIS, please stick to CR-1 visa, which is $1000 less expensive compared to i-134 plus your husband will be able to work in US as soon as he arrives.

Filled out AOS? I'm so lost.

I make above the poverty limits and my husband and I still struggle, how would you plan on supporting him until he could get a job?

I would say to get a 2nd job or something. I had to work A LOT of overtime just to get the money together for the visa so it's hard but you gotta do what you gotta do, and that's the way it is.

Ok so I stand to be corrected. But perhaps you can explain why people go for the K3 visa instead of the CR1 besides the early interview that you get? I know 4 people that filed K1 non immigrant visa (fiance petitions) they did not have to submit any I134 documents at the Casablanca Embassy. Hopefully someone from Morocco that filed the K3 petitition would share their experience. I agree with the expenses that you will eventually save however, if she doesn't have a co sponsor and she knows that she does not meet the poverty guidelines, what would be the solution?
