i've seen the 64 in luoyang reserve arsenals (don't ask how i got in), and intended to build one some day. working on a pps43/52 conversion right now that pales in complexity to what this fellow is doing. the 64 is terribly over-engineered, and is a real throwback to the '30's, technologically speaking, but is quiet and reliable, if a bit heavy. it was designed for covert ops and seen in VN occasionally.

whoops. been on that board so long i didn't realise you needed to register to see. suffice to say, the 64 is a silenced subgun that is basically a scaled down milled receiver AK47 made up in 7.62X25, with a standard Ak underfolding stock. Kind of like an AK's little brother. the chinese used them for clandestine ops in VN and taiwan.
