Hello vj family,

I have a question, for people that have done their interview, I have my interview this june 24th in Orlando, and checking the list from USCIS, they are asking to me to bring "A certified copy of your Marriage Document issued by the appropiate civil authority"

I am not sure in what do they are asking for??? is it just my original document of marriage or is something else???

Thanks for your help!!

Since I have an interview coming up and was asked for the same(which is pretty much a standard metter everybody receives) I went to the City Clerk's office in New York where i got my marriage certificate from. I paid $15 at the counter and they issued me a certified copy of the mariage certificate. That is what USCIS will retain from you if asked for and required. Go to the office where you got your marriage certificate for. They'll charge you a fee and issue a certified certificate there and then.

Hope this was useful

Best of luck and do share your interview experience with us.
