Good morning MENA!!

Hey Nagi, your up quite early on a Sunday morning! Glad to hear the fingers are on the mend, just becareful about the numbness. The nail will probably fall off, so keep an eye on that.

Amanda, I am soooooooo happy for you guys!!! InshaAllah, your man will be with you in a few days!! And yes God is great, Allahu Akbar!! ;)

Melly, I am sure you'll sleep alot better now with the net. Although I hope you have A/C in the bedroom, cause otherwise you'll still have problems with sleep....it's so darn hot in Misr!

Jamall, HLM is correct the K-3 is usually not as long as the CR-1/IR-1.

HLM, hope you are feeling well and that little one is letting you sleep. When I was pregnant with my son Tariq, he would kick me in my belly all through the night. Sigh...may you have a blessed and easy pregnancy, habibtee. (F)

Jackie, hee hee. You make me giggle! My cat needs a new haircut too. She scares me though, if I try to cut her I am sure she will try to cut me  ! She CRAZY!!!

Melynda...counting down the days to Morocco! Lucky gal!! Enjoy your day without children :P

Jess and Sara, have a great day....enjoy!

Jeanne that's awesome your man quit smoking! That's no small feat! I am blessed that my Ahmed never smoked. For a while there, I thought he was the ONLY Egyptian to NOT smoke :P

Tam, good luck for Adam....hope he can quit soon.

Happy daddy's day to Charles!!! Oh and all the dad's out there....Happy Fathers Day!!

Gotta get to laundry, argh! Not sure if it'll rain...may stay in the house all day.

Anyhow, to everyone else....have a blessed and happy Sunday!!!! :D

WOW Jeanne! Congrats to Wael! Adam has talked to the family doctor about it, but hasnt went to go get the prescription. I would love Adam to be cig free!

Hey Tam! Yes it's a good program. He had been wanting to quit and was a struggle for him

to finally come to terms that he had to stop. Couple things made a difference. He himself had

to be the one to say NO MORE. Also having him see exactly how much he was spending on

cigs which was outrageous! When totalled he saw he could have had a couple trips to Egypt!

He was in a cigarette fog! But at least he had his "OOOOOOHHH" moment!!

Hope you can get Adam on the program! What a difference. Good luck!

100% AAF...yep, I was told that I would loose the nails. I was up early not by choice.....my dying dog had lost bowel control and it was all over the house. I had to get right up and start scrubbing floors and dog. An unbelievable mess.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Almost forgot....Wael has been taking Chantix (to stop smoking) and he has now

officially HAD NO CIGARETTES!!! I thank God he finally decided (along with my ever

nagging mouth) to begin this program. He is so thrilled with himself. What an

accomplishment!!! Nagging is good. :lol::lol:

That is WONDERFUL news!!!!! I'm happy for both of u!

I'm sorry to hear that! I hope that ur dog goes with the least amount of pain possible and that God grants your family peace.

Nagi (F)

Happy Sunday MENA :energy: Happy Fathers Day Charles.

Adam smokes a pack of cigs a day. Its really disgusting and I constantly fuss about it. I put a trash can outside and its sickening to see how many cigs are inside of it! Hes been smoking for 10yrs and hes only 24! Thats not going to be too good in the long run. I already told him that I wish I could go get my nails done every 10 days bcz thats exactly the same price of his cartons of cigs!

Today is the day I'm supposed to quit smoking since the mortgage papers were final yesterday. Technically I could say that I want to wait until I get confirmation that they received the package but I don't think husband will buy that. Thing is it's one-sided.....he is saying I have to quit but HELLO he still smokes!!!!!

I haven't had one yet but I'm not hopeful for the rest of the day. I really need a plan. I've done this before and I've always had a plan. I don't want to take any meds since I already am on cymbalta and a host of other goodies for thyroid, etc. I can't imagine my liver.

Sooooo my plan I think will to keep a ton of sparkling water around and when I want to smoke I'll drink that. Also tootsie-roll pops seem to work well. They're only one WW point and they take a while to get to the middle unless you're an owl and you c-r-u-n-c-h.

Gotta stop by dad's house for a few and then off to do food shopping.

Happy Father's day!!!!!

Adam only smokes marlboro or L&M filters. I think when we move to Texas he might be more willing to try chantix. Hes highly stressed right now with his pain in the butt manager at work, plus working over nights is no help either.

I wish my adopted father was alive for me to wish him a happy fathers day (F) I sat on the floor holding my fathers hand, and watched him take his last breath as he fought to breathe while struggling with pancreatic cancer.

My father was truly the greatest man in all the world to me, to adopt 7 children from 3 different families, work hard to provide for us, take us on wonderful vacations, love us and support us in life. 11 yrs later and I still wish my dad was alive. :crying:
