My wife and step-daughter are from Jamaica and have been in the US for 14 months, their visas expire next May. We are about to apply for wife's green card but we don't know what to do for daughter's green card. I know I have to aplly for I-130 for her, which is about $600. My question is, can I apply for wife's and daughters greencard together and only pay 1 fee of $1010, or do I have to pay 2 fees?

Should I go ahead and file for extension as well?

Thanks for any info you are able to share.

They are separate applications therefore, separate fees. We paid the $1010 for myself and now that I found a job (finally!), we will be sending in my son's I-130 as well as AOS which will be (as long as fees haven't changed) $355 + $1010. NEXT MAY?? You have 10 months...I don't think I would apply for an extension...check out my timeline. We filed in July for AOS, had greencard in December, so 5 months...I think you're pretty safe. Good luck to you!
