Hi everybody!

I got that yellow anvelope with the letter from the embasy and the papers for the medical exam.

The letter said that I was scheduled for the interview and for the intervew I have to bring my birth certificate in original and proof of my relationship with my husband.

Besides what they asked me to bring to the interview, shoul I bring anything else?...like other papers...or photos....anything else besides birth certificate or evidence of our relationship?

Thank you very much!

It doesn't hurt/cost to bring in extra evidence.

Better to be over-prepared then to be caught short handed.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I have a big file of evidence of our relationship that I am going to have with me...I was wondering about other papers that they would need.....like a Police certificate(they allready have one on file)...I heard that you are supposed to bring one to the interview...but they didn't ask for it or anything else but the original birth certificate...I have copies of everything we've sent so far to the NVC.Is that good enough?

I'd try to get in contact with the embassy to verify what you'd need to bring. My wife just had her interview, she answered each question with no issues and they requested after the interview documents that weren't requested in the letter we received nor what was on the website (we had a valid police certificate but they are requesting we get another one, they're requesting the document that my wife was eligible to marry before we got married). We now have to wait at a minimum of 2weeks before we can get the new documents. Just a heads up.

We took our valid police certificate to the interview but they requested for us to apply for another one. If you take your big file with you lol, make sure you have it organized so that if you need to get something out of it, you won't be sitting there rambling through it, you can go right to it, meaning you can get out of there quicker which will lead to fewer questions :D good luck!

I'm just going to get another police certificate...just to be sure. Other than that, they have the original marriage certificate si I can't get another one...Everything is organized and ready in the file :D What kind of papers did they ask that weren't in the letter? This is so frustrating!

Thank you!
