Change of Address

Hey all, i just got my CR-1 visa this week.... and not sure when my POE date will be.... but since my husband is military we just found out that we might be changing address (could be out of the USA) next January... can anybody please tell me what to do and how can i inform them where to receive my green card? since my husband is military i found out that wherever we will be on deployment orders its like still being in the USA but can anybody please tell me what to do and who to inform of the move?

first of all , congratulations for your visa

looking to ur time u can see that u will need to travel by all the means before Dec 2009

cz ur visa is valid ONLY for 6 months of the day of issue which is June 17 ,,

and looking to the fact that there i a possiblity u may move on Jan , so by tht time u would get ur green card after all ..so changing the address is not an issue

the max time u need to be in USA is like nov ...from Nov to Jan is enough to get the card looking to the members comments ..so i believe it wnt represent any problem for u at all

but ..just in case ...at the POE in the immigration office u report them ur new address for the card to be sent it in case u r sure it need to be changed ,,and there u can tell them abt the Army stuff and ur Husband ..and they will let u know how they work it out

thanks nowhere man..... i might now know the new address since we would be moving to another place in january and i think i ll be in the states october/november..... coz my husband is deployed.... but i will surely let them know at the POE.... i was thinking of calling the military helpline as well..... is there anyone who happened to have the same situation as mine?
