They will not accept it until it has been generated, but sure, you could email it as long as you have your case number already.

I emailed it a few days after I got my case number, but a few days before they generated it, knowing it would take them a few days to get to it.

Then I emailed it again and sent the hardcopy on the day that they generated it.

I think they accepted the hardcopy before the emailed ones surprisingly.

Here's the format:

 Thank for all your advice.

"Attempts to mail or email DS-3032 before it's been generated are useless. It's like trying to pay a water bill for a house that hasn't been built yet.

The auto response email just means that they accepted your email. It doesn't mean they can do anything with it."

Take a look at Jame's shortcuts, it provides some info on how to more the NVC process a little faster. It also explaines how to send the ds3032 form and provides the email address. Hope this helps. http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Jame%27s_Shortcut

it's better to send in actual mail... they didn't do anything to my DS3032 email... it sat there for two weeks until we sent in the actual printed copy then they said they accepted it.

When you sent DS3032 via regular mail did you print your own bar code or did you just write your case number in that sticker bar on top of the form?

because i'm the beneficiary, i signed the form and mailed to my husband earlier.... before we got the barcode.

So i asked hubby to print the barcode and paste it in the box! and stamp our case number on top too.

My hardcopy was also accepted first. I printed out my own barcode, affixed with glue stick and wrote the case number at the top as well.

Thanks for the advice...I think I will also snail-mail it to them...they are dragging their feet with generating DS 3032 for me even though my PD is current already in July (I am in family-based F1)...I was hoping that I can send it to them now so that it would be in the system around the beginning of July.

My hardcopy was also accepted first. I printed out my own barcode, affixed with glue stick and wrote the case number at the top as well.

make sure to have nvc case no. and then call operator to give them your email address

Option 1:- Choice of Agent selection via mailing DS-3032

If you choose option 1 to mail DS-3032 then as per step 0 you should have DS-3032 with barcode attached and signed by the foreign spouse. Use next day express mail to send DS-3032 at below address.

National Visa Center

Attn: ACL

32 Rochester Ave.

Portsmouth, NH 03801

Option 2:- Choice of Agent selection via E-mail

If you decide to choose option 2 to use email, then have your foreign spouse send an e-mail to NVC. You may or may not receive automated confirmation as NVC receives an e-mail. It takes about a week for NVC to send return e-mail with choice of agent acceptance e-mail.
