Egypt Stuns The World: Prostitues More Important Than The Game!:blink:

We watched Amr Adeeb last night (re-run from the day before)...He is a bit over the top at times (as most media) however, he had some good points...Did anyone have a chance to read about it or watch the media coverage on it? I think people in Egypt are split on this...Outrage with the media or with the team.

So they lost the game to the US because they were celebrating with prositutes over their victory with Italy? Those guys don't need to buy women they're hunks that could have most any woman. :(

I don't know about losing the game, but some media outlets are saying the "robbery" from their hotel rooms wasn't random but was done by prostitutes that various players had invited into their rooms. And the Egyptian team is saying that's not true and that South Africa is using that to take the light away from their inadequate security/policing.

Ah so it's hookers that took the cash and dashed!

During the Egypt vs. Italy game. ut oh.

lol I'm not sure I haven't seen it as a "confirmed" report I've just read it on several media sites, blogs etc. I don't know if there will ever be an answer but I agree with your statement regarding them being able to get just about any girl they wanted without having to pay. Not sure (if it's true) what they were thinking.

I just read two reports that they have the scantly clad women on the hotel camera hopping from room to room celebrating with the players after the Egypt vs. Italy game. That isn't good. :(

Sad...but if you can find a translated (or watch w/ hubby if he can stomach him and translate for you) a show of Amr Adeeb about it...its quite hilarious how he goes nuts about what happened. He's a drama queen but made some good points. :D

My hubby told me about this yesterday. He didn't know if it was true, the story about the prostitues, but he felt either way, prostitue and/or money stolen...this behavior is something they should do on their own time, not while represending Egypt to the world.

Sad thing is is that this may not have even come to light, if they had won. Although Egypt's star player Mohamed Zidanwasn't playing, they had no business losing as bad as they did. Anyhow, they didnt' deserve to win.

Thats not right at allllll . first you have to know its forbidden in Islam to do that .its a very big sin .

Those players pray every single day 5 times a day . they wake up so early to pray Elfajer ( maybe at 4 something in the morning) i don't think that kinda people will do that .plus its very high security hotel . how that hotel allow them to bring that kinda women to the players rooms?!!!!!!

and all of those players are in the same floor . plus the ministry of sports .the coach ..... so how they bring that kinda women to their rooms?!!!!

plus all people know that some or many people in south africa have Aids . it it was me i would be scare to do that with that kinda women cause i might catch that from them .

the brazlian team got robbed too.

the players just did not want to tell anything about the money cause of the world cup ( it will be in south africa next year ) cause the fifa was concern about that .

you are not safe in south africa after 6 pm .and when they know that Egypt will tell the police about that they made that story .

those players fears GOD and they will never ever do that .

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

I love your passion for Egypt and the team. We all know its a sin and should not be happening...however, its really sad that you would turn a blind eye to what happens when people leave their "small" corner of the world and have access to more money(than the norm), access to travel to other places, etc. What they show you about the players is to make the team look good, its called Good PR(Public Relations)...every team has it (or should). It doesn't reflect the real life of each and every player...BELIEVE ME. They are not all perfect...no one is.

As for mentioning AIDS...I understand the epidemic so does the world...yet prostitution is still alive and well...go figure.

I'm not accusing anyone...no one has all the facts...but its quite obvious by the anger of the team manager and quick to cover up the facts or name players that something fishy was happen up in there. :P

I agree .you are 100% right .

I did not say that they are saints .and for sure they are not perfect .

I just want to say when Egyptian people are going to take an exam ,play a very important game,USA visa interview LOL,...etc they will not do any thing wrong or any sin . cause they want GOD to help them .maybe the same people will do bad things or sins but in different situation .

those players were so tired Esp they were playing VS the best team in the world Brazil and the world champions Italy.and in fact we did not deserve to win that match anyway . cause USA was the best .and they got what they need from that match . and the funny thing is the USA coal keeper coach is an Egyptian and he lives in USA since 20 years ago. he told the USA team that they need 3 goals to go to the next round . when the USA team had no hope to go to the next round or they were not even thinking about it .....

The latest development is the wives of the Egyptian football players are calling into the South African papers defending their Husbands saying they know they are praying five times a day and would never go for prostitutes. They trust their Husbands abroad. Also the head of the Egyptian football league and some clerics are saying to the papers ok either provide your sources for your information and produce the videos or retract your statment in the paper with an apology as big as the article you produced or we are taking you to court.

*CHUCKLE* Court in Egypt "You're guilty because WE say so!!!"

I agree if there is no hard evidence or they can not have one of the girls come forward (I'm sure they know how to find them if they exist)...then they should retract the statement. I'm sure it will be on the back page :P As for the wives, its expected of them...not a big surprise to me. I can't say whether they pray 5 times a day or not...but I can say from knowing others who have traveled out of the country on tours, shows, etc....temptation can hit no matter how religious a person is or claims to be.
