Hi Everybody

My wife and me were married for a year and we decided to file for my green card but since we have up and downs in our relationship and my wife is still being abused by her kid's father, her custody lawyer recommended her to divorce me and she filed for an annulment in one day without asking me..My lawyer filed for my green about a month ago and my biometics was scheduled for next saturday..Is there any possibility that my case still can be pulled??

thanks,

Yes AOS is based on MARRIAGE to US citizen.

From what are you adjusting from? K-Visa, Work, tourist, student?

MOVING this to the CORRECT forum, this has nothing to do with US Citizenship (Naturalization)

What does being married to you have to do with her being abused by her kid's father????? Why would her lawyer recommend that she divorce you????

You don't think you can get an annulment after a year of marriage. That's usually done the next day, after you sober up.

Btw, you won't be able to get a greencard if you aren't married to her.
