To us it wasn't accurate. It said we'd be approved in March but we ended up getting approved towards the end of May. You'll find it changes a lot also. A friend of ours got approved quite a bit before the estimated date that was given. I think it varies, really. Just aim for 6 months as it is the standard time it takes to get your NOA2. If you get it before then that's great.

Exactly. Sometimes I wonder if I would've been MORE sane about this process if I weren't on VJ seeing all the people get approved so much faster. If I'd just kept the 6 month mark in my mind (which will be this Wednesday unless I get approved today or tomorrow), then I wouldn't have been as frustrated seeing so many others fly by while I stood in quicksand.
