Thanks Jill. Good to know so i won't bust my head looking for or filling out more forms. I'm also going to take the chance and just send in my sheet then when the time comes. It'll make life easier after all the other stuff we have to fill out. And of course, all the money we have to shell out

I also just sent in my vaccination work sheet and was approved with no problem. Someone phrased it really well ... if you are in a real rush and can't afford the delay that an RFE would cost you, then go to Dr. Arnold. If you can risk an RFE, and the perhaps two week delay it would cause, then just send in the worksheet.

I wonder if it makes any difference that we are Canadians? Might seem like a strange statement, but I've heard of a lot of people getting RFE's in the AOS thread, but nobody here from Canada has? Weird. I think I'm just going to risk it now. The 2 weeks or so is not a big deal to me.

I wonder if anyone has been in my situation. hope someone has an answer for me.

So I just turned 26 on August. I got my 1st shot of Gardisil in June and I've moved to US already with K3 visa. I forgot all about my gardisil shots... what a pain in the butt.... now I want to make sure my medical I send in with my AOS application is good to go and hopefully dont get RFE. I dont mind sending in the info to Dr. Arnold. I prefer to do it that way... but...

Since I'm overdue for my 2nd shot... should I still continue with the 2nd shot & then send all my vaccination records to Dr. Arnold?

or should I just send what I have to Dr. Arnold and see if they will approve it?

when I called USCIS, they said they have no say on the medical part and its all up to the appointed doctors. When I called them about the (above) questions, they had no answer for me.

im confused.

im going to be in the near same situation - my 2nd shot is due on the 15th. I dont get medical till october and im in the usa. I want to file before sept 15th which is coming up fast but im not sure what will happen if i get RFE in the middle of AOS for the second shot or what. I dont even want the next 2 shots myself. Need some Guidance as well on if i should just try with the TX Dr, an go ahead or go without an risk RFE for the I-693 ( i have the vaccination sheet from montreal from the K-1 medical ) the dr near here is on vacation for 3 weeks and I just want to file AOS...

Edit - found this on gardasil.com for missing shots but it doesnt really explain much or help much for if you miss by alot..

What if I’m late getting my second or third dose of GARDASIL?

Ideally, your vaccination schedule should be:

First dose: at a date you and your doctor or healthcare professional choose.

Second dose: 2 months after the first dose.

Third dose: 6 months after the first dose.

If you're a few days late getting your second or third dose of GARDASIL, don't panic. If you miss a dose, your doctor or healthcare professional will decide when to give the missed dose.

hmmm i guess its up to Dr. Arnold if he will go ahead and transcribe my vaccination for me or not. I hope he can just go ahead with it with me being 26 yrs old and married for 2 years. it really sucks when I'm at the cut off age and if I have to spend $300 just to get 2 more shots plus whatever copay or doctor fees I need to pay just to get the prescription.

Im slowly accepting the inconvenient medical that US has. i miss canadian medical

I thought I'd just add this for others who have started their gardisil vaccine in Canada and finishing it off in US.

Tammy from Dr. Arnold said as long as you complete your gardisil vaccination within 12 months (guessing from when you started your first 1), you are still in a good position with the medical part of your immigration process (ie. I-693). so if you are 2 months late with your second vaccination (like I am) and I can still complete all 3 vaccination within 12 months, it wont be a problem for my AOS. good news for me.

I contacted the health department about obtaining gardisil and I found out some pretty useful information. They said, there is no such time as "being too late" to take your shots. But, you cannot take the 2nd and 3rd shots earlier than you're supposed to.

Now the hard part is searching for the cheapest price for gardisil and getting a prescription w/o getting charged an arm & a leg. So far, getting gardisil at Safeway & Walmart is $165 if you don't have insurance. I am still getting used to how outrageous the costs for medical is. I was avoiding going to a doctor in US but now I really need to, just to get the prescription for gardisil. darn it!

dont forget in the next month or so they are going to review what is required vaccination wise and they may remove gardasil from the list in a month or so, theres another vaccination thread with the post about it.

Is that the General Medical Center? there's multiple clinics that I contacted but only have one name and I think that's them. They said they've done many immigration forms. a lot of them is located at tacoma. but unfortunately I dont really want to drive almost 2 hours unless I'm going shopping out there :P
