Did anyone use Dr. Arnold?

So I'm a bit torn...I'm reading about lots of people who just submitted their AOS without getting the vaccine sheet transcribed and had no problems... so I'm thinking I'll just do that too...

But I had the last Gardisil shot after my medical, so I have a note from my Dr. showing that I got it. I was thinking I'd just submit the note with the vaccine worksheet from my medical in Canada and see what happens..

But I'm also thinking I might as well just get it transcribed by Dr. Arnold and save myself an RFE.

Thoughts?

I'm in the same boat..and I think I'm just going to go ahead and send the worksheet without getting it transcribed. Enough people are having success with that approach that I think we will give that a shot first.

I'm not as worried as I once was about getting an RFE...I'm not still living alone at the bottom of the planet. This time, should we get an RFE..we will wait it out together.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Well my opinion would be go without it, only because I did and was fine :D I did include a letter attached to the vaccination worksheet stating that all of my vaccinations were up to date. You could do the same and mention the gardisil too. So many Canadians here told me not to bother with Dr. Arnold, I heeded their advice and got lucky.

Your medical was under one year ago, correct?

Mine was completed December 18, so that's under a year. I still have the copy of the vaccination list results, from the titre test that shows the levels. I'll send them that as well :)

Thanks Jill - That note is great! I think I'll just send the worksheet and letter that I have showing my third Gardisil shot and see what happens from there.

The worst that can happen is that I get an RFE and get delayed a few weeks, which is no biggie at this point.

I'm really not enjoying this AOS stuff! I forgot how tedious all these forms were, haha.

Uggg yeah the forms are so boring! At least with the biographical form, you can basically copy and paste the old one you did (if you still have it saved, that is) and one of them (either AP or EAD form) is only 1 page, so it's not too terrible. If you want, I will give you my cover page to the entire AOS package if that will help, let me know!

I've been thinking about that as well... I was leaning towards getting it transcribed just for the peace of mind, but that would also delay sending out the papers and cost some extra cash. I haven't quite decided yet. There's so much conflicting information! I've read threads where people claim you only need the first shot for AOS and you don't need to bother with the others, and in other instances i've read that you need to show you've kept up with the schedule of shots... I've also read a thread where someone was claiming that they submitted the vaccination worksheet without getting it transcribed and was ordered to get a new medical done for AOS even though their K-1 medical was still good. Who knows!

I just sent my vaccine worksheet from my K-1 medical as Jill did, and my EAD was approved today, so if i"m gonna get an RFE for my GC, I should know in the next little while. It doesn't bother me nearly as much though - I will be able to work, get my licence (FINALLY, stupid NC and not taking my I-94) and have some freedom. If my green card is delayed a tad, it's ok :)

And yes, I hated having to put together the AOS package...probably worse than the K-1 package

That's good to know Jenni - thanks for the update, awesome news about the EAD! If I got my EAD before my greencard, I'd be okay with that too! Good luck on the job hunt :)

Just out of curiousity I have a question for you lovely ladies.

You say you sent it in with your vaccination sheet from your K1 medical. Did the dr give you a second copy of the vaccination sheet or did you get to keep it? I was just looking over AOS stuff to make sure I have most of it done for when I cross (hopefully later this year) and guess I was under the impression I would have to get my vaccinations transcribed. I guess I thought they sent our whole medical package to NVC when they took our package at POE.
