How long does it take to recieve green card after decision?

My wife got a letter in the mail with a date of decision of 05/18/2009. It is now 06/18/2009, should it normally take this long? She came in on a K-1 and was removing conditions.

Also we want to travel at the end of July.. Should I try to get an infopass appointment for I-551 or just wait it out? Flights are for Cuba and spaces are limited.

Waiting on har copy of <!--WORD2URL-01--><!--END WORD2URL-01-->NVC<!--WORD2URL-02--><!--END WORD2URL-02--> approval and receipt of packet at consulate

Called State Dept. after not hearing anything since Sept. 23: Packet reached the consulate and was kicked back for a secondary security clearance probably do to her type of employment - Waiting for clearance and for superpacket to be sent.

Superpacket received on Jan 7, 2005

Arrived Apr. 23, 2006

Bio Aug 19, 2006

Work permission Sep 06

Permanent residence Oct. 5, 2006

Normally not this long - right now yes (USCIS is working off an 8-week delay in their card production facility(ies) - see:
