Litigation is a factor, but hardly the primary factor in excessive health care costs in the good old USA private insurer system. Your alleged 'numero uno' is a fun fact pulled out of your Right wing posterior...

Interesting link that, I think the only way to fix the current health system is to have a plan that is "non-profit" which runs alongside the current private system, take the power away from profit, business schemes and give it to the people of the USA.

There would still be a market for the private insurance companies, so I don't know why the Republicans are concerned about them.

Oh and Lobbying should be made illegal on Capitol Hill....The Reps and Senators were voted in by the PEOPLE of the USA, they work for US. Having lobbyists who can influence the politicians eats away at our great democracy. Democracy was introduced to take power away from the wallet to the ballot, from the rich to the poor.....Lobbyists are Scum.
