Hi I just called one of the civil surgeons here in NY and they are asking me to do all the blood works again like HIV, tb, STD. But I told them that I already had it on the Philippines and that what I need right now is for them to transfer my vaccine but they said if I can give them a proof or show them the results that I had before they would transfer the vaccinations without the test. But how can I show it to them? Im from the Philippines and they never gave me the results except the DS-3025 for my vaccine because Im sure my medical is still with the USCIS? Im confuse now. SHould I undergo the tests again? or should I look for another civil surgeon?

Any possibilty of having a family member go to the doctor in Philippines and ask for a copy of vaccination report? My fiancee's sister got it for her.

I have the vaccination report with me. But what the civil surgeon wants to see are the results of HIV test and chest xray which is impossible to produce. Because we all know that upon our POE the immigration officer got everything from us. I want to inquire to Dr. Arnold as Im always hearing him here lately but im way too far coz I live in NY.:(

I was told to do the same thing when I went to one of the civil surgeons here. Read the intructions on how to complete the I-693 at the USCIS website. Basically, you don't have to undergo the medical test again but instead you need to complete your vaccination record. Try calling other civil surgeon or try Dr. Arnold or Dr. Topigh here in Las Vegas.

Eternally destined,

Go to another doctor. I m pretty sure there is some mre in NYC and tell him that you only need vaccinations. He cant force you to do everything. You re paying for what you want.

In the i-485 is said that if you came on K1 visa you only need vaccinations so print it out and bring with you.

Good Luck

Will it be possible for them to transfer it for me even if im here in NY? I was able to talk to some filipina nurses on one of the clinics in Patchogue but they are insisting earlier to have the tests because they said it is their protocol. (OMG! that protocol is giving me a headache) anyways, Which is i object to do because yes, I already read on the instructions that I dont need to undergo the tests again. I am calling more civil surgeons now. Thank you.

I used Dr. Arnold because all of the local doctors wanted to charge me a minimum of 250.00 for a medical exam when one had been completed within the year. Dr. Arnold fixed me up for 30.00

There are 320 civil surgeons in NYC, and I'm convinced that all of them are white-collar CROOKS. I have called about 50 of them in the past year for my wife then my daughters, and NOT one would agree to just transcribe the vaccinations from the DS-3025. I've had them tell me all kinds of lies to try to get me to waste money on another exam. Since my wife had to complete all her vaccinations as part of the k-1 visa process in her country, we just sent the DS-3025 and were approved without the form. It was a calculated risk that we were willing to take.

Your medical is valid for 1 yr. DS-3025 is your medical record bring it with you. Some surgeon will just transfer your record but some wont do it unless you will undergo physical exam.

Wow!!!! 35 dollars??? That's great!!! If I would've known ir before :( I had the same problem and after going back and for to the doctor's office and trying to explain that I had the blood test already and the vaccines I gave up so I had to do it again. I had the blood test, the tetannus vaccination and the TB skin (which was the only thing I didn't do it in my country). It cost me $300!!!!! I was very upset but fortunatelly everything went well and I am waiting for my green card!!! I have my EAD and my AP already

No doctor will transcribe vaccinations and blood test reports (like HIV, TB and others) on form I-693 if one would not produce a record of it. Period. Now since you say that everything has been submitted to the officer at port of entry, but that doesn't mean one shouldn't have their own record. Doctors do give a copy of everything for applicant's record. If a doctor in the Philippines didn't provide a copy of all these medical records or forgot to give it to then you should have asked for it. Okay, you didn't ask because you might probably not know that you can have a copy of it too, but you can ask now thru your family members.

You either misunderstood the question or don't know what you are talking about...

I don't know anybody who received anything more than the vaccination supplement from the doctor in their home country. They do not usually give you copies of anything more than the vaccinations.

They aren't asking the doctor to fill out anything on the form as far as TB or HIV sections. All they wanted was for the doctor to transfer the vaccination to the form and sign it. If your medical is less than 1 year, you don't need the whole form filled out, you just need the vaccinations section.
