In truth Bush did deliver.

Speaking for myself and others I know... we did very good during all but the tail end of the Bush years.

We saw fewer terror attacks (none) on our soil while at war..... than the last Lib in office provided in peace time.

I saw a lot of modest income people get into housing and advance in income during the Bush years.

suggesting "all was hell under Bush" puts me in the position to point out....a little reality.

Sure Bush had shortcomings but he did DELIVER as well.

The day may come when Obama will "DELIVER"..... how long must we wait?

Maybe i'm reading a bit too much into this, but is that your way of sifting between the Hannity/Rush ####### and give the man at least enough time to work before judging? I'll admit that Obama's policies have bourne no fruit. But it is early, and the seeds have only been sown.

There have really only been 2 major instances of foreign sponsored terrorism taking place in the US over the last 20 odd years - 9/11 and the 1993 WTC bombing, so this idea that Bush and Cheney somehow made us safer seems very dubious to me.

If we follow that rationale - Obama is doing a fantastic job on national security because noone has blown up a major landmark over the last few months.

We might also infer that every other president who didn't have to deal with terrorism in his term did a great job on national security by default.

Its a crock really.

Same Bush that under his watch spent like drunken sailors on leave and lowered taxes that created huge deficits. Increased the Government and gave us homeland security that has invaded our privacies.Trashed the constitution by starting warrantless phone taps and just generally kept our soldiers in Iraq for Nation building when bringing them home was what we wanted.

The bad thing is Obama the Socialist is even worse.
