I totally agree with you.

We are separated and spend lots money on maintaining two houses. This doesn't make sense from the point of view of DCF. Why does DCF exist then?

Everyday I get frustrated and today I read Jonesq111's post saying his denial which makes me totally nervous. If I get denied, we would lose so many things not even money, my future and everything we had to give up in order to show stronger ties in U.S.

This is totally unbelievable. Well, all I can do is praying. I'm not religious but I must do. It has been 4 weeks, I'm going crazy!!

I personally think it is very unfair to expect a couple to live apart, but aside from that, from a purely financial point of view - after all the expense of immigration - to expect a couple to maintain 2 households, when obviously the U.S. citizen will probably have to give up their job when they leave Canada - well I find that ludicrious.

There is allowance for 'reestablishing' domicile and it should be used!
